Sweet Potato Crust Pizza


  • 1.5 cup of mashed sweet potatoessweet potato, stuffed sweet potato
  • 1.5 cups of almond flour or brown rice flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese ( lower fat option such as mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of oregano
  • 1/2 tsp of curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika
  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • (Any topping of your choosing) I chose lean ground turkey and onions on this one.

Sweet Potato Crust Pizza


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well

3. Cover a pizza pan/baking sheet with tin foil or a non stick cooking spray(olive oil)

4.  Use a spatula and spread dough evenly until it is about a 1/2 inch thick.

5.  Bake for 25 -30 minutes until center is firm and edges are lightly brown.

6.  Remove crust from oven and add toppings and bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese is completely melted.

7. Remove sweet potato crust pizza from oven, slice and eat up.

Who says cheating can’t be clean. This pizza is full of complex carbohydrates, lean proteins, and vegetables. A perfect after school snack for the kids or better cheat meal for yourself.
