What is a better bad food: better than eating something worse, but not the best choice.

What is Clean Eating: Filled with nutrients that support a healthy body, lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, lots of green vegetables, and good fats.

What I think:

First ingredient is enriched wheat flour which I talked about in an earlier post as not being wheat at all. They alter the make-up of wheat flour by taking out several great ingredients and trying to add good ingredients back in to increase the flavor and shelf life

    Prepared with Liquid Margarine: Liquid Soybean Oil and Hydrogenated Cottonseed and Soybean Oils, Water, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Salt, Soy Lecithin, Mono-and Diglycerides, Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate (Preservatives), Artificial Flavor, Citric Acid, Vitamin A Palmitate, Beta Carotene (Color).

What I think:

I hope you are as disgusted as I am about the egg whites, tons of Trans fats also called partially hydrogenated oils.

  • CANADIAN STYLE BACON Pork, Water, Sugar, Salt, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Phosphate, Natural Flavor, Sodium Diacetate and Sodium Nitrite (Preservatives).

What I think:

Tons of un-natural preservatives, and sugar and salt

What I think:

What I hear when I see this is yuck, filled with salt, preservatives,

What I think:

Even more Trans fats or partially hydrogenated oils, contains no omega 3 fatty acids or essential fats.

My Summary of McDonalds Egg White McMuffin:

  • Please stay away from this sandwich 800 grams of sodium is almost half of your daily recommended salt consumption depending on your weight, height, and activity level
  • Fat does not consist of any good fat
  • Carbohydrates equal to 32 grams and do not consist of enough complex carbohydrates to be beneficial for you.

VERDICT: Bad Food

Don’t allow food companies to fool you with their clever marketing of egg white delight, there is nothing delight about this.

Please try to eat fresh non preservative lean protein, complex carbohydrates, green vegetables, and good fats as much as possible your body will say thank you in the end.
